Who doesn’t love a county fair? Especially the Gillespie County Fair–The Oldest Continuous County Fair in Texas!

Join us for a weekend of Texas Hill Country and Gillespie County hospitality that the whole family will enjoy. It’s four big days filled with great events–exciting carnival and midway, your favorite fair food, livestock judging, agricultural and household exhibits, arts and crafts, washer pitching tournament, antique tractor shows, and live pari-mutuel horse racing!

Thursday, August 22:
Ag & Home Skills Entries Taken at Exhibition Hall from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, with judging beginning at 6:30 pm

Gate and Carnival open at 5:00 pm
Hours: 5pm – 11ish
FREE Admission

Free music to begin at 6:00 pm with Jeros Del Norte and Los Pedernales and then Los Texmaniacs at 9:00 pm

Friday, August 23:
Gillespie County Fair Parade (on Main Street) at 10:00 am
Gate, Carnival, Vendors and Exhibition Hall open at 1:00 pm
Hours: 1pm-Midnight

Admission: $10 Adults 13 and up from 1-6pm, then $15
                     Students K-12 free from 1:00 – 6:00 pm, $5 after 6:00 pm and Free for 5 & Under
Queen’s Contest & Catalog Dedications at 7:00 pm at the Grandstands

Friday Night Traditional country artist Jake Hooker takes the stage at 8:00 pm

 

Saturday, August 24:

Gate, Carnival, Vendors and Exhibition Hall open at 10:00 am
Hours: 10am-Midnight
Admission: $10 Adults 13 and up from 1-6pm, then $20
$5 Ages 6-12 and Free for 5 & Under

Horse Races Post Time 1:00 pm

Cabrito Shootout Goat Roping Finals at 4:00 pm

Saturday Night after 6:00 pm, $20 per person

Saturday night, join us for the ladies of country!

Sunday, August 25:
